MaxiPod
The Most Sophisticated Domestic Hot Water Cylinder On The Market
Its speed and intelligence make it unique. The MaxiPod® is our finest indirect cylinder to date. This hot water system delivers fresh drinkable cold and heated water straight to your taps. The Maxipod truly is a groundbreaking hot water system.
A pressurised and vented cylinder, we designed the MaxiPod® to control any and all of your energy inputs, no matter what heat source you choose. Including:
How Does The MaxiPod® Work?
MaxiPod® Thermal Storage Systems work by reversing the function of the Primary (Heating) and Secondary (Domestic) waters.
The Primary water is stored in the cylinder and heated by a boiler or renewables. When heated by a boiler, the water can also be pumped from the thermal store around your heating system, to provide space heating.
Fast, Efficient Hot Water
The secondary water comes directly from the mains or pumped cold water storage and passes through a specially designed heat exchanger, which draws heat from the MaxiPod® thermal store.
This water then passes through a thermostatic mixing valve, which blends it to the correct temperature before providing fresh drinkable hot and cold water straight to your taps. This constantly moving water does not allow legionella harbouring bacteria to grow and means your water is always safe!

Secondary Water
The secondary water comes directly from the mains. The water then passes through a specially designed heat exchanger which draws heat from the MaxiPod thermal store.
This water then passes through a thermostatic mixing valve. The water is then blended to the correct temperature before reaching the taps.

Manufactured from Grade 2 Copper
Why Choose Copper?
Our copper cylinders use only recycled copper. Recycled copper meets 42% of the European copper demand. It requires only 15% of the energy for extracting new raw materials, making it sustainable, environmentally friendly and the most recycled plumbing material available today.
Copper also has a long and established history of being used in conveying clean, safe drinking water. It boasts natural antibacterial properties and inherent health benefits making it a well trusted, tried and tested material for water supply and storage. The presence of copper ions destroys potential Legionella harbouring bacteria responsible for Legionnaires’ disease, making your water clean and safe to drink.
Copper is a well-known, trusted, corrosion resistant. With great benefits.

Copper Industries Hot Water Cylinders ensure water moves in greater frequency than in traditional hot water storage cylinders. We ensure the hygiene of the water is good, never letting it stagnate for long periods of time. This constantly moving water does not allow legionella harbouring bacteria to grow and means your water is always safe!
